The Chess Assistant 2008 Chess Databases include 3,300,000 games from the beginning of chess history until January 1, 2008. Each game has exhaustive information: participants, date of the game, place, tournament class, opening index. The database HugeBase in Chess Assistant format includes 36,000 annotated games. The database Corr 2008 includes 376,450 correspondence games from 1973 to 2005. The players' library contains more than 50,000 chess players with unique names. Besides there are following useful chess information on the DVD:

An encyclopedia of players: 950 photos of famous chess players in JPEG format, a list of tournaments where the player participated, change of the ELO rating over the course of years.

MegaCAP (for Chess Assistant users) 36,000,000 computer evaluations.

The databases are in two formats, PGN (allowing it to be imported into or accessed by many popular programs such as ChessBase, Chess Assistant, Fritz, Shredder, Rybka, etc; and Chess Assistant format.
