Full notes to all the games, plus some excellent photos and extensive commentary on the prelude and aftermath to this great event, the strongest tournament ever held up to that time. Keres and Fine finshed ahead of Botvinnik, Alekhine, Euwe, Reshevsky, Capablanca, & Flohr. The annotations are fresh but also take into account the commentaries by the great contestants themselves over the years. They are incomparably better than any previous notes.
