Comments :	This book has become my guidepost! After spending years reviewing GM games again and again and not always quite getting it, I realized that what worked for me was finding a GM whose style I could emulate. John Emms is that player for me. This collection works for me because he explains the WHY of his decisions as well as the how. As a result, I can buyinto his decisions even when I wouldn't ordinarily choose the line he proposes (e.g. the Closed Sicilian). John's approach and recommendations helped me develop my opening repertoire and it was SO EASY to understand. I recommend it without hesitation or reservation for intermediate players searching for their approach to the games in addition to improving their overall chess strength.
