In response to popular demand, Chess Informant has decided to dig deep into the treasure-trove filled with all the 3,002 combinational masterpieces published in the Informant’s combinations section from the 5th through the 91st volume over a 35-year span. The Chess Informant Editorial Board resisted the trend of some recent compilers who often aspired to rewrite the history with the help of our silicon friends – we felt that true collectors of the Informant volumes would certainly be well served to finally add the original trademark sections to their collection.
