I purchased the roll-up mousepad chess board about a year ago. I have used it in tournaments, outdoors, and even on the beach. The best feature is the fact that if it gets dirty you can drop in in a washing machine on cold water and it comes out looking brand new. The backing is rubberized and prevents the board from moving on smooth surfaces. It folds nicely in a backpack for taking it along with you anywhere. It's also a great bargain at the price.
Only a few chess players work at chess to the best of their abilities.
