Svetozar Gligoric’s first CD is called "How I Survived the 20th Century." The album consists of twelve compositions in different genres, such as blues, jazz, and ballads. Gligoric wrote ten of the twelve compositions and the majority is in English.
This luxury edition CD also contains a separate booklet - "Life is all we have" (60 pages in color, in Serbian) - with comments by Gligoric about each composition and details of his life from his childhood in the Royalty, as well as from the World War Two, and postwar times.
Gligoric himself sings one of his compositions, and another features vocals by well known Serbian and Montenegrian rap-singers, Niggor and Woodoo Popeye. There are also five Gliga's skits - short talks in between compositions, randomly recorded during the work to complete the album in the studio.
All in all, a rare item!
