Comments : I bought this program for my 8 y.o. daughter, after having taught her how to move the pieces myself. She can't get enough of the game. She prefers solving the puzzles and earning "ELOs" to television and almost anything else. Even after a few weeks, she is looking for tactical traps on the board, though she still hangs pieces, etc. with regularity. The point is: she has great fun and is learning rapidly. As for the program, I've spent a considerable amount of time watching her play and playing the game with her. The depth and range of the lessons is incredible for a children's program. I highly recommend this program. My nieces and nephews will be receiving the program soon.
